NEEN is a dynamic, member-based network providing community organisations with the information, inspiration and support to become more energy efficient and take charge of their energy future.
A national initiative, NEEN promotes open learning and collaboration amongst faith-based and not-for-profit community organisations around energy efficiency and sustainability. Through increased efficiency we aim to reduce the energy intensity and consumption of the community sector, in turn reducing emissions and freeing up funding for delivery of core programs that support a more positive future for all. Supported with funding from the Department of Industry as part of the Energy Efficiency Information Grants Program, NEEN offers our members free access to specialist energy efficiency information, an online Opportunity Assessment tool & interactive Business Case report, NEEN+ events & an online learning community. It is this learning community approach to development & collaboration that sets NEEN apart from other initiatives, offering our members a unique opportunity to collaborate with their peers and make Australian communities more resilient into the future.
